The Safety Fair at the brand new Falmouth Police Department was a huge success. We raised awareness for child safety and fingerprinted many families to save in their Smart ID Sticks. Did you know that a child becomes missing every 40 seconds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year? The FBI receives over 2,000 missing children reports every day. Statistics from the U.S. Justice Department and The World Almanac put the chance of your child becoming missing at 1 in 42.

Our mission is to I.D. all the children in the state of Maine, offering our service annually at every elementary school on "I.D. Day" (similar to picture day). This day can be a fundraiser for the school or can be sponsored by a local business. Click here to find out how.

Guard-A-Kid is the nation's most highly recognized Child Identification and Child Safety Program. The Guard-A-Kid Child ID Program (see below) offers a complete child identification kit to help protect your children.

Parents will receive:

A Full Size ID (8x8) containing the child's 10-fingerprint images, Color photo and complete physical and emergency information.

Two Laminated ID Cards containing the child's color photo, thumbprint image, and complete physical and emergency information.

One CDROM child identification kit containing 10 digital child finger print images, child ID color photo, child vital information and a specific law enforcement child identification file.
